When you move out on your own it really is a step toward claiming responsibility for yourself. You become reliant on yourself. You will have the power to chose when you get up, when you go to bed. Who you will hang out with or not hang out with. What you will eat. When you'll eat. It's all up to you.

It can be a bit scary, but as soon as your able to you should move out.

There is nothing like having the freedom of your own place to call home.

The first time I moved out of my parents house was when I went to college. It wasn't the full blown, out on my own experience, but it was a taste of it. I traded my parents and their rules for a military college that I attended and its rules. That was my choice. I chose the school I went to. Your ability to choose and determine your own destiny is the beginning of you having agency over yourself.

When you can say "I've got this, I can take care of that".

It is empowering, it will encourage you to take the next step and the step after that.

One of the things that helped me realize this is moving out of my parents house.
