You matter in the lives of those around you.  Sometimes you don’t realize just how much you affect others.  Here is a quick story.

For my birthday last year my son gave me a journal notebook, a thoughtful gift as I journal almost everyday.  I didn’t open it until I was ready to use it a couple of months later, my heart swelled, my son had hand written an inspirational quote on the top of each page, 240 pages worth.  

Then I read the inscription on the first page and tears streamed down my face, 

“Dear Dad, You’ve always inspired me, think of this as my attempt at the same thing.”

You matter. What you do matters. Who you are matters.

Be a blessing, remember those around you are listening and watching especially your children, family and friends.  The little thing you do for others can make a huge difference.
